The Software Engineer will be responsible for the creation, upkeep, and support of various web platforms and internal systems for clients and stakeholders. This role involves crafting high-quality, maintainable code that aligns with business objectives and collaborating with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative technical solutions using diverse programming languages and technologies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are appropriately sized for continuous delivery.
- Write functional code and corresponding automated tests.
- Take full ownership of developed functionalities, ensuring they meet business needs, engage users, are maintainable, and robust.
- Conduct peer reviews to maintain high development standards.
- Work with fellow engineers to enhance development tools, processes, technology stack, application performance, and stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
- Provide after-hours support as needed, adhering to organizational SLAs.
- Document new developments and update existing documentation within the team's knowledge base.
- Mentor junior developers, fostering knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficient and passionate engineer with substantial expertise in PHP development, including Symfony framework and Doctrine.
- Experience with ReactJS.
- Familiarity with additional technologies such as:
- AWS Lambda
- Typescript
- MySQL
- Strong documentation skills.
- Understanding of testing methodologies.
- Willingness to mentor others and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding team members.
