Overview:

You will be part of the Network Team and Technical Services Team, maintaining the security, integrity, and availability of telecommunications services which support core clinical operations. This role supports around 14,000 users across 120+ sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the ICT Network Systems Team Leader with daily operations and system housekeeping.
  • Analyse and resolve logged calls from end-users and ICT colleagues.
  • Provide timely provision and support for network and security-based technology.
  • Work with other ICT department sections, health boards, and national teams.
  • Manage installation, system configuration, monitoring, and incident management.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of network and security systems, supported by training and practical experience.
  • Strong interaction and communication skills with customers and ICT staff.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and in an on-call capacity outside standard working hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant technical qualifications like COMPTI or CCNA
