Digital Marketing Exec, £18,000 to £20,000, based near Cardiff

My client is a successful and fun employer, they are looking for a Digital Marketing Exec to undertake a variety of duties within an established marketing department. The successful candidate will need to have a good all round understanding of marketing principles within in a commercial setting. This is a brilliant opportunity to take the next step in digital marketing and take responsibility for business critical client projects.

Key duties will include but not limited to:

  • Assist with producing material and research data for any campaigns for 2 of my clients websites
  • Assist with the building of email campaigns, database selection, HTML presentation and quality assurance of all outbound campaigns
  • Performs day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the departments activities
  • Report and analyse material to assist with marketing activities
  • Analyse data and results to seek growth opportunity
  • Monitor web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance goals
  • Assist in the organising of promotional events hosted by the Company's marketing department
  • Assist in development and execution of internal and external communication in line with content strategies
  • Verbal and written communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results
  • Work closely with the other team members to meet marketing goals
  • Participate in the organisation of the production of marketing materials by working closely with printers, sponsors and other involved parties
  • Assist the marketing team with the maintenance of social media accounts and services
  • Cover, when required, the aspects of Marketing, such as Social Media, SMS, research and content
  • Keep pace with all digital marketing industry trends and developments
  • It would also be a benefit if you could demonstrate previous success from digitally focussed social media initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A working knowledge of marketing channels
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, Online Analytics, dot mailer
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools
  • Desired: Knowledge of website administration
  • Some knowledge of web affiliates and online advertising campaigns
  • Experience with email and SMS platforms
  • Ability to dissect data and provide evaluations on campaign outcomes
